Nedjma Association

The Nedjma association was founded in 1963 in Blida. It was created to safeguard and promote Andalusian heritage. Over the decades, the association has been recognized across Algeria. Furthermore, it has contributed to preserving music traditions for future generations. Its mission has always been respected by local authorities. In addition, many cultural institutions have supported its artistic journey.

The Nedjma association performs classical noubas rooted in Andalusian tradition. Several movements are regularly presented, including m’seddar, b’taïhi, insiraf, and khlass. The orchestra often features both instrumentalists and talented singers. Moreover, traditional instruments such as the mandoline and nay are widely used. Performances are delivered with elegance, yet modern touches have occasionally been included. Consequently, its style remains faithful while still appealing to audiences.

  • L’association a célébré son 50ᵉ anniversaire avec des journées andalouses réunissant plusieurs associations musicales d’Algérie.
