Taleb Mohamed Abdelrahmane was born on 14 March 1914 in Blida, the son of Mohamed and Ghenia Belazougui. He worked in a barbershop on Ameurouche Street and raised six children.
In 1955, he joined the National Liberation Front and managed financial affairs. Later, the occupying forces arrested and severely tortured him. After his release, they placed him under strict daily surveillance. He had to report every morning to confirm his presence for an entire year.
In 1957, he joined the National Liberation Army in the second sector of the second division. He traveled with a group to Tunisia to bring back weapons. On their return, the enemy had tightened control in M’sila, so they returned to the second sector.
In 1959, enemy forces surrounded a group of fighters. During the confrontation, Taleb Mohamed Abdelrahmane stood bravely and gave his life as a martyr for the nation.
